1885 sigend f. Kroeber one weight vienna regulator, lk here is one early american clock you will want to have.

It is a signed f. Kroeber one weight wall regulator, circa 1885.

It measures 44 1/2 inches long and 13 1/4 inches wide, with the original top piece and large finial on the crest. It is a walnut base with what appeard to be the original finish on it. The weight and very nice intricate pulley are original to the clock. There are numbers no the back of the movement, and also on the top brass piece of the pendulum, as well as, the backplate in the case, all stamped the same number, 24037. All are matching, so it is stlil completely intact.

It is lacking the top side moldings at the top of the case on teh sides, and the bottom finial. The original roman numeral porcelain dial is a large 6 in diameter, but it does have a small blemish around the numeral 7. It does have glass on the sides and a porcelain beat indicator also. This clock was purchased today from an individual who owned it the last 45 years. It is a very nice walnut case with a terrific patina no it, and a great piece for the american clock collector, especially the kroeber collectors.

You very seldom see german one weight clocks, almost always two weights, and american pieces, you just never see like this one. It is a very nice piece, and selling with no reserve at all. Bid away and note the shipping is $65 within the continental usa.
