8day weight driven time/passing strike mass. Shelf clock( no. 214). This one is a heda scratcher! Case is old ofr sure. Either a period case or made (by an expert craftsman) of antique wood. However it hsa great patina and finsh so it's been around a long time either way. The insert is newer. Dial looks like a mint original period dial and was done by somone who new what they were doing. This one had me going till i looked at the movt. (which is an exact repro of the original with the exception of the passing strike) even the hands rae hand made and look just like the original willard barb hands you see on one of these. If you are looking ofr a great looking mass. Shelf but don't have or want to spend 10's of thousands for an origianl than this one is na alternative. tI will fool most folks!
If youve gto an old dial and movt. This woudl be a home run! Reserve is much less than a modern repo nad alot less than i paid for it but i'm hoping you'll like it as much as i did.
