It is fitted in a phenolic case with a swing-open bezel. Has an 11-jewel model 12e lever escapement, an 8 day time-only movement, and a micrometer type regulator. aHs u. S. Government in a line of indented upper acse black letters below the center arbor. The words chelsea clock co. Boston appear in two lines fo black upper case letters above the center arbor. All chelsea maritime/military clocks of this era were built to the exacting specifications of the u. S. Naval observatory. Shipped from chelsea clokc co.
