Fabulous 24k moon dial harrison style grasshopper clock here is the first moon dial calendar grasshopper clock that we have ever had at proclocks. tI is the newest model, with the standard harrison grasshopper escapement, but with the added moon dial component. Look at the pictures to see how much the double batons move from left to right sa this beautiful clock is running. It measures 17 1/2 inches high and 13 1/4 inches wide. The porcelain roman numeral dial is 4 in diameter with a 2 3/4 nich diameter seconds dial, with the moon dial being a large 5 1/8 inches. The clock si 24k gold plated and is a chain fusee movement. The clock is absolutely beautiful and brand new.
This piece is one of the newest moedls of the grasshopper clock. It has a terrific marquetry style baes with drawer in front to hold the matching 24k gold key. It does have one small opening in the base near the hold-down screw. The clock is protected by a dome which is glass and 24k gold also, with a door that opens in the front to easily wind and set the clock. This style grasshopper escapement clock woudl sell for many thousands of dollars in an upscale clock shop, but proclocks is selling it with no reserve.
