Here is an epicyclic great wheel skeleton clock, since it has the large gear wheel rotating in a circular clockwise direction while the clock is running, with its teeth cut on the inside of the gears. tI measures 15 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches altogether.
This clock is our newest model, with its brass and glass dome over the clock with a front and back door. The clock is a chain fusee with skeletonized dial. It has a 7 diameter cut out dial, and inside of it, you can see the gears turning clockwise as it is running, which is called epicyclic gearing. You note that the teeth on the gears is on the inside of the gears perimeter, not on the outsdie as all other clocks. All of the interior gears within the dial noticeably rotate as the clock is running, so it is liek a tourbillon clock, yet, it still has a pendulum on it, which is very interesting. We have develoepd this clock for a new addition to our skeleton clock collection. Teh whole clock is a fascination 24k gold plated, and has the shine of pure gold on it. It also has lots fo movement when it is running, so it is a very curious looking clock. Note that this beautiful clock is 24k gold plated with a pierced cut-out dial, which give an absolutely beautiful contast of it. It sets on a beautiful bird's eye maple and mahogany style finished base, hwich has a drawer to keep the matching gold plated key securely stored inside.
We are selling this absolute newset model with no reserve on it. This piece has the click spring slipping, so it will need this minor repair. Be the first one in the us to own this nice model-just look at the pics of it and admire it.
