It is for an german ra style weight case. It has a pendulum drop of about 28 inches from the center post to the bottom of teh pendulum, which is the standard size case. It is a time and hour/half hour striking movement, with a subsidiary seconds hand just under the numeral '12' on the terrific porcelain dial. This movement si complete, including the mounting bracket and the complete movement with hands, also with the second hand. Note it does have a small chip on the upper portion of the porcelain dial.

You can put it into an old case you have without any movement, or make a case for it. Either way, you cna have a nice clock.
