The case has columns on each side of the dial, with lion's haeds on the ends of the clock. A traditional americanna mantle clock. The eight day movement is signed by the william l. Gilbert colck company, winsted, conn, 1902. This clock strikes on the hour on a coiled gong, and there is access to the movement through teh rear of the clock.
